keynote - Katrina Barry

ceo of meandu.com, FastTech50 Female Leader of the Year, former manager director of contiki

Katrina Barry is a CEO and Director with deep experience in travel, tech, hospitality and financial services.

As recent CEO of me&u, a global business transforming hospitality, Katrina was focused on using great tech and rich data to elevate the customer experience and deliver meaningful upside to a traditional industry in a non-traditional world. After successfully scaling the business in the US and UK, she orchestrated a merger with me&u’s competitor Mr Yum to create a $2.6bn TTV global category leader and finished up in January.

Katrina also sits on the Board of Webjet Ltd, Australia and NZ’s largest online travel agency who is also on a mission to be the largest global B2B bed-bank and prior to me&u, Katrina was previously the MD of Contiki Holidays and Trafalgar Tours across Australia, NZ, and Asia, spending 8 years boldly redefining travel experiences for the digital age.

In an era where technology intersects with every aspect of our lives, Katrina stands at the forefront, leading the charge in navigating the complex 'collision zone' of tech, tourism, and hospitality.

This event promises to be an enlightening experience, featuring Katrina's keynote on 'Trends in the Collision Zone'— a dive into the revolutionary trends shaping the future of tech and their profound impact on the tourism and hospitality sectors.

Find out more about Katrina in her bio below where she’ll also be part of our panel session talk.
